The role is based in Brisbane, it is essential you are in Brisbane or the Sunny Coast too as you will be required to work in the office.
About The Role
My Australian clients who are specialists in everything Data are looking for an experienced and mature R&D Senior Developer to join their Brisbane team.
My clients are absolute experts in their Technology, they research with passion, wonder as they learn, and implement innovations that shape the future in the Data.
They take responsibility from the first day with their expert colleagues and work with their individual strengths to build better pioneering applications.
They make quick decisions and take action.
They quickly adapt to innovations and changes.
Are you the FULL STACK expert we are looking for??
What You Need - ESSENTIAL
- Python 3
- JavaScript and HTML/CSS
- Experience of working with Linux and Bash scripting
- Software design, development and IT security best practices
- Web UI apps programming
- REST API development
- Version control solutions (i.e. GIT)
- Backend and frontend unit testing
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
It would be highly beneficial but not mandatory to have:
- Flask, Pandas and jQuery knowledge
- Understanding of machine learning and ability to apply it
- Understanding of CI/CD principles
- Understanding of application containers
- Networks and cloud services
It would be expected that, if successful, you would:
- Report to the R&D Director and collaborate with the technical support, coding and analyst teams as required
- Assist and mentor junior developers
- Be prepared to learn new technologies and enhance coding ability
- Attend Brisbane CBD office.
