About you
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer and Consultant that loves solving problems; you'll be a key part of our core development team working across all of our product suite including workflows, automation and core functionality
On a day-to-day basis, you'll be hands-on in developing code, shaping requirements, designing and architect solutions, and setting up good engineering and quality practices.
Key Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Developer experience using a Python stack (Django)
- 3+ years working as a Python developer
- Containerized software (e.g. Kubernetes docker)
- Cloud hosting services (AWS)
- Experience in relational databases (PostgreSQL)
- Experience coding web services, REST API, XML, JSON
- Experience in full SDLC - design, development, implementation and testing
- Experience in Agile methodologies
Responsibilities
- Writing clean, high-quality, documented and maintainable code
- Experience with Django (Python) experience is also essential
- Provide technical leadership in terms of mentoring developers, constructive feedback, and architectural decisions
- Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
- Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure the project meets business objectives and compliance standards
- Support full testing and deployment of new products and features
- Actively participate in code reviews, retros and sprint planning
