Role Description
This is a hybrid role located in Tampa, FL for a Python Automation Tester. This is a contract role with flexible remote work options available. As a Python Automation Tester, you will be responsible for creating and executing automated tests using Python-based frameworks and tools. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify any issues and provide customized solutions to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software and applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in automation testing with knowledge in test automation frameworks, SDLC, and Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in Python programming language and experience in creating and executing automated tests using Python-based frameworks and tools
- Experience in developing test plans, test scenarios, and test cases
- Experience in software testing for web, desktop, and mobile applications
- Experience in testing RESTful API services
- Knowledge of SQL/Database concepts and experience in using SQL in automation testing
- Knowledge of test management tools like JIRA, TestLink, and Zephyr
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
