Company Overview
We are actively seeking two skilled Python/Django Backend Developers to join our team in crafting robust and scalable web applications. Our client, based in Plantation, FL, requires candidates who are local to South Florida and can commute to the office four days a week. This is a hybrid position with a day-one start, and candidates must possess a Florida State ID. Relocation considerations will be given, with preference for candidates already located in South Florida.
Job Description
- Developing, testing, and maintaining server-side logic using Django web framework.
- Designing and implementing data storage solutions, including databases, caching mechanisms, and asynchronous task queues.
- Integrating front-end elements into applications and implementing security and data protection measures.
- Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability and collaborating with front-end developers to define and implement APIs.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Python Django Backend Developer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Django web framework and Python programming language.
- Experience with database management systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile.
