We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role: Al Senior Python Engineer.
Responsibilities
Our client, a US-based startup and leader in AI-powered accounts payable automation, offers a solution driven by AI to automate Accounts Payable processes, improving efficiency in AP departments. Their AP Automation software is revolutionizing invoice communication - their innovative approach consolidates all AP-related communication, documentation, and workflows into a single platform, providing unique visibility and control without requiring extensive changes to ERP systems or existing processes.

We're searching for skilled and enthusiastic engineers to join their team and contribute to the growth of their product. You'll have the opportunity to develop technology that transforms how companies communicate internally and externally about their business transactions.
What will you do?
- Developing algorithms from research to deployment
- Collaborating with diverse teams including developers, product managers and experts
- Designing, implementing, and testing machine learning models to meet business objectives
- Assessing and suggesting ML/LLM tools for better efficiency
- Reporting directly to top management
- Contributing to the automation, delivery, and enhancement of ML solutions
- Staying updated on latest technologies to deliver customer benefits
- Working closely with product, engineering teams and stakeholders
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree from a reputable university is a must-have
- Strong drive and a knack for problem-solving
- At least 6 years of experience as a Backend and/or ML Engineer
- You can lead the charge and deliver results on complex projects
- Proficiency in Python is essential, along with either Java or C#
- An understanding of software architecture patterns and deployment, particularly microservices is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are the key
- You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts
Nice to have
- Expert in ML/Generative AI tools and frameworks such as LLMs, LangChain, Hugging Face Transformers, TensorFlow, PyTorch or similar
- Knowledge of DevOps concepts such as Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD)
- Experience with: Big Data, SQL, Red Shift, AWS, GPT, ETL, Infrastructure
- Have practical experience in developing solutions using LLMs
- Should be capable of handling tasks with full ownership, from Proof of Concept (PoC) to productization
- Can effectively break down large problems into smaller, manageable steps
- Have the ability to acquire new ML concepts and technologies and apply them effectively
