Responsibilities

The Toolchain automation developer is responsible for understanding usage and main interfaces of differentSystem validation tools and, more importantly, for implementing automation framework, using mainly Jenkins server, that will support the overall development activities and provide an efficient interface for general users when interacting with these tools.

  • Development of Automation pipelines for system test and system integration test
  • Development of Python orchestration responsible for connecting independent HW units and securing the correct data flow as well as providing an API for further automation through Jenkins
  • Implementation and setup of different automation jobs in Jenkins using Groovy programming language
  • Supporting CI/CD activities with general monitoring and improving upon weak links in the pipelines
  • Documentation of implemented solutions according to the Valeo standard
  • Administration, maintenance and modification of implemented solutions according to current requirements
  • Creation of test strategy, planning and coordination of test activities based on submitted requirements
  • Collaboration in the creation of system specifications and system requirements, communication with interested teams
  • Ensuring software quality in accordance with company processes
