Our client is a leading global Financial markets data provider runs a number of change programs to deliver of high-quality software that connects Financial Markets across the globe in a real-time, high frequency, and low-latency data management chain. The projects are technically challenging in an environment that is very engaging.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software, design, and functional documentation
• Provide estimates for specific software feature implementation
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
• Build unit tests for your code
• Write tests and automations
• Generate load tests
• Work with metrics, security tests
• Solution implementation
• Provide code review

Skills

• Must have
  • 7+ years of software development experience; 7+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Proficient in JavaScript, Node.js, Python
  • Experienced with Linux, and Docker
  • Deep understanding of web technologies (HTTP, TLS, REST APIs, DNS, TCP)
  • Familiarity and experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
  • Proficient in writing automated tests for software applications
  • Ability to design and generate load tests to assess the performance and scalability of applications
  • Experience working with metrics and analytics tools to monitor and analyze system performance
  • Knowledge of security testing principles and practices to ensure the robustness of applications
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work with various programming languages and technologies
  • Adept at identifying and solving complex technical challenges
  • Understanding of quality assurance principles, even though the role is not primarily focused on QA

  • Good communication skills to articulate technical concepts and solutions clearly
