Senior Python Developer

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting Python applications to satisfy business requirements in an AWS environment.
• Working collaboratively with the development team to design and implement eLearning modules.
• Utilizing Flask and Django frameworks for web application development.
• Leveraging AWS Cloud Services for the development, deployment, and maintenance of applications.
• Providing technical support for web, desktop, or mobile applications.
• Participating in the full software development life cycle from concept to deployment.
• Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs.
• Helping maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Contributing to team meetings and offering innovative ideas for product development.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Python programming.
• Proven experience with AWS and Python preferably in the e-learning training industry.
• AWS Cloud Certified or equivalent certification preferred.
• Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask, or Pyramid).
• Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (like JavaScript and HTML5).
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Strong unit test and debugging skills.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
