Are you a Software Engineer with Python and SQL skills?
You could be progressing your career working on complex, real-time systems at a global Systematic Trading firm, with continual learning and development opportunities. As a Software Engineer, you'll build components for both live trading and simulation, refining automation of the research infrastructure including alpha estimation, risk modeling, and back-testing. You'll use Python and SQL to maintain and update the research platform, develop data checking and storage procedures, and troubleshoot any systems-related issues.
Location / WFH
You'll join a highly talented team in the London office three days a week with flexibility to work from home the other two days.
Requirements:
- You are a Software Engineer with experience in designing and developing research and trading infrastructure at a buy-side firm.
- You have expertise in Python and are fluent in SQL.
- You have experience with database design and large data sets.
- You have experience handling connections to trade order management systems.
- Experience with C++ and KDB is a plus.
- You have excellent English language communication skills and are collaborative.
- You are degree educated, likely to MSc / PhD level in Computer Science or a Quantitative discipline.
