Reporting to the Associate Director, IT, Backend Chapter Lead You Will:
- Produce clean, well-documented, maintainable, testable, and scalable code.
- Participate in planning, design, testing, and code review.
- Build rapid prototypes and work on fast-paced projects.
- Work effectively within a cross-functional multi-site team.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
- Inspire and mentor junior engineers on best practices and professional conduct.
Qualifications
You Have:
- Extensive experience with Python as this is our primary programming language.
- Previous work experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MSSQL, or similar. Example: Performance Optimization/Analysis of Database.
- Experience with AWS cloud environments, or similar.
- Proficient experience with software development tools such as Git and Gitlab.
- Promotes working within an Agile environment using the Scrum framework.
