Job Description
At Capital One, we are looking for DevOps Engineers who are passionate about using data with emerging technologies to drive a major transformation within the company. The role involves collaborating with Agile teams, delivering cloud-based solutions, utilizing programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Ruby, and Go, supporting MS SQLServer Database, and performing unit tests.
Basic Qualifications
The basic qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s degree, at least 4 years of experience in DevOps Engineering, at least 2 years of experience with Cloud Native technologies, and at least 2 years of Unix or Linux system administration experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include experience with Jenkins, Github, CI/CD, IaC, Terraform, Ansible, container orchestration services, coding and scripting, SQL Developer, Agile Development Practices, and AWS certification.
Salary Information
- New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $165,100 - $188,500 for Senior Software Engineer
- Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
