Senior Python Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis, business process modeling, usability and security analysis for development projects
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders in the implementations of new web applications
• Apply industry best-practices regarding test-driven development, emerging technologies, risk mitigation, and continuity planning
• Code development and code review

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Python and experience in building applications with it
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Strong experience with modern engineering practices
• Familiarity with software configuration management (SCM) concepts and version control systems, especially Git
• Experience with automated testing best practices, and Continuous Integration/Delivery
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems, including scripting skills
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Strong English language skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
