Job Description
Thanks to a continued period of steady and sustained growth, the CIO is now looking for a Python Developer to join their talented team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and developing software solutions as well as having the opportunity to guide / mentor 4 mid-level Python / Django members of staff within the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with industry experience to contribute to a forward-thinking organisation within the fintech sector.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in Python development, with a strong understanding of its frameworks and libraries - Django / Flask.
- Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs for seamless integration of systems and services.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, including but not limited to EC2, Lambda, S3, and RDS.
- Demonstrated expertise in database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.
- Experience with containerisation technologies like Docker / Kubernetes
- Experience with RabbitMQ would be beneficial but not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions tailored to the needs of high-net worth individuals.
- Utilise RESTful APIs for seamless integration with external systems and services.
- Leverage AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, and RDS to build scalable and resilient solutions.
- Design and implement database solutions to store and retrieve data efficiently.
- Containerise applications using Docker / Kubernetes for deployment and management.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
