Senior Python Developer Job Description
Ship.Cars is looking to expand its team of experts with a Senior Python Developer. The primary duties and responsibilities include:
- Building great, scalable software and APIs in Python and Django (and also other technologies)
- Integrating core business systems
- Participating in the architecture, design, and development phase of software production
- Enforcing coding UI standards
The qualifications for this role include:
- 5+ years of experience developing Python apps
- Experience with the Django framework
- Experience with REST APIs and Django Rest framework
- Knowledge of good API design and experience implementing it
- Good knowledge of databases – Postgres, MySQL, Redis
- Experience working in the Linux OS environment
- Decent knowledge of HTML and JavaScript
- Excellent knowledge in OOP
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Responsible and team-oriented person
- Ownership mindset and get-hit-done attitude
