Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Python dev in our Data Transformation and Transfer practice you will write scalable code, developing back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance. You will work together with our colleagues writing and testing code, debugging programs and integrating applications with third-party services.
Your Role and Responsibilities :
- You’ll use at an advanced level at least one of the following programming languages/frameworks: Python, R and R Shiny
- Developing the application's back-end components and linking it with other web services
- Design and maintain Python scripts and codes to automate tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and develop new features and fix bugs in existing software products
You’ll be responsible for writing reusable, testable and efficient code — ensuring the application's performance, security and scalability.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Strong experience in at least one of the following programming languages/frameworks: Python, R and R Shiny
- Extended experience in Cleansing, Analyzing & Aggregating large datasets
- Knows state-of-the-art Data Science Techniques and how to apply them Pandas, Numpy
- Knowledgeable about the following libraries: Pandas, Numpy; knowledgeable in Jupyter hub, Rstudio server; Hbase, Kafka
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, etc.)
