Senior Python Data Engineer

Tasks

• Developing and maintaining data pipelines, data systems for Smart Building IoT platform as well as existing building management solutions
• Collecting, collating, analyzing data from applications such as Fault Detection Diagnostics, Indoor Air Quality, People Counting, Occupancy Analytics and smart Building IoT Platform Collaborating closely with internal and external key stakeholders and SMEs
• Working with the Solution Architect, Systems Analyst and Business Analyst to define pipelines and data systems
• Optimizing and documenting the technical aspects of various data solutions associated with the Smart Buildings/IoT/OT space
• Troubleshooting problems, fixing bugs

Expectations

• 5+ years of experience as a data engineer
• Strong understanding of version control systems e.g. GIT
• Experience with data pipeline development/application development
• Experience with Python and SQL
• Having significant experience with Secure IoT
• Having technical expertise with data models, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Understanding of the DevOps processes and practices
• Understanding object oriented languages and paradigms
