About Vacancy
Join ZingBrain as a Senior Python Data Engineer, where you'll shape sportsbook recommendations through data insights. This role offers a greenfield project opportunity with modern technologies and direct collaboration with product stakeholders.
- You'll tackle myriad challenges, from navigating unknowns to adapting to potential changes arising from new discoveries.
- Handling large volumes of data in real time and near real-time processing will be a key focus, ensuring seamless operations in a dynamic environment.
You'll be responsible for:
- Developing data pipelines: lead the creation of new ETL and ELT pipelines using Python and Airflow, facilitating efficient data flow for analytics and ML endeavors.
- Designing OLAP systems: design OLAP systems to extract valuable insights from data reservoirs, aiding data-driven decision-making.
- Optimizing performance: tune existing pipelines for optimal efficiency in handling large data volumes.
- Monitoring and maintenance: create monitoring dashboards and maintain pipelines in production to meet real-time processing needs.
- Collaborative problem solving: collaborate with product and tech teams to analyze requirements and address bottlenecks.
- Managing messaging systems: oversee messaging systems to ensure robust data delivery.
- Documentation and communication: support documentation efforts using Confluence for future reference.
To join us, you need to have:
- Proficiency in Python and its data-related ecosystem.
- Experience with Postgres and designing OLAP systems.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes for efficient deployment.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and projects, ensuring their successful completion within specified timelines.
- Strong collaborative skills, adept at working effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
