Software Center is a part of Capgemini Group. We support our clients, using the knowledge, experience and engagement of our specialists. Our offices are located in Wrocław, Poznań, and Gdańsk. We realize projects from many branches – from logistics, automotive, entertainment branch, to public and chemical. We are experts in many technologies, i.e., Java, Cloud, .NET, React or testing.

Department Description: Cloud & Custom Applications

Cloud & Custom Applications practice delivers business critical solutions for commercial and public sector. Our area of expertise is developing bespoke solutions bolstered by artificial intelligence employing Java, Python, and TypeScript in a cloud-based setting. Currently, over 700 of our engineers work on exciting projects for over 30 clients from different sectors (Automotive, Logistics, Telco, Life Science, Energy, Financial Services and others).

Your Future Tasks

  • designing solution architecture in Python, Cloud and AI environment;
  • participating in Python development projects as technical consultant or leader;
  • building and supervising an internal development and training program for Python and other related technologies as well as leading workshops and mentoring sessions;
  • establishing, promoting and guiding clean code solutions and best practices in the field of Python applications;
  • cooperation with universities to develop AI-related competencies in teaching curricula.

Our Requirements

  • at least 7 years of experience in creating high-quality code and architecture;
  • very good knowledge of Python language and its libraries supported by experience in testing, web applications, DevOps, and architecture design;
  • very good command of English (German language would be an advantage);
  • being open to learning new technologies as well as openness for technical challenges;
  • self-organization, independence, willingness to share knowledge.
