Title: Senior Platform Engineer (Python/.NET) - Remote

Responsibilities

Work with engineering and product leaders to implement functionality.
Build observable services and support their operation in production.
Coach and mentor engineers on your team and across the department.
Incorporate best practices including unit and integration tests.
Ensure service quality meets functional and non-functional requirements.
Work closely with product management to understand the product, to suggest and evaluate tradeoffs, and solicit feedback early in the implementation cycle.

Mastery of native AWS development using serverless, distributed techniques across service boundaries.
Experience with development in Python, .NET, C#, and/or node.js/Typescript.
Proficiency working with PostgreSQL.
A DevOps-focused mindset of building services that are scalable and high-quality.
Strong time management skills.
Strong communication skills.
