Duties will include:

• Writing code to deliver the technical functionality.
• Ensuring that code is developing using best practice principles.
• Supporting, guiding and mentoring other developers in the development process.
• Planning and implementation for future capabilities.
• Developing software engineering technical artifacts.
• Develop test cases and supporting data using provided specifications.

Successful Candidates will have the following experience:

Essential

• Demonstrated understanding of best practice software engineering practices.
• Leading a team of developers.
• Developing using the Python programming language.
• Implementing/maintaining CI/CD solutions.
• Designing and developing distributed systems.
• Linux - containers & Cloud security.
• Cloud IaaS environments (preferably AWS).

Job Details:

• Location: Canberra. However, remote candidates may be considered.
• You must be an Australian Citizen & hold an AGSVA Security Clearance.
• 12-month contract starting 1 July 2024 with extensions.
