Project Description

Founded in 1984, our client is a leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry. We are currently looking for a talented software engineer to work on embedded software for high-precision systems.

Responsibilities

As a software engineer in this project, you will:

• Work on Linux server applications for metrology components and complex algorithms.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, mechatronic engineers, and system engineers to define software requirements.
• Design and implement software in Python & C/C++ for new modules.
• Write auto and unit testers in Python.
• Test the code on lithography machines, collect data, and write test reports.
• Release approved software for client machines.
• Work in a development environment using Red Hat Linux and execution environment using Wind River Linux.
• Be part of software teams that work in Agile and SAFE modes.

Mandatory Skills Description

• C++ application coding, STL.
• Understanding and maintaining legacy code in Embedded C and C++, adding new features.
• Experience with Linux, shell, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
• Familiarity with command line tools like makefile and git.
• Python scripting.
• Version control systems knowledge: Git, Clear Case, and SVN.
• Experience in Software Delivery Life Cycle stages.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Agile mindset and experience in Agile frameworks.
• Open communication and team player skills.
• Client-facing experience.
