Project Description

Founded in 1984, our client is a leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry. The client has its R&D and manufacturing operations in The Netherlands. Luxoft is seeking a software engineer to design and implement embedded software for precision systems.

Responsibilities

As a software engineer, you will:

• Work on Linux server applications for metrology components and complex algorithms application software.
• Collaborate with engineers to define software requirements.
• Implement design in Python & C/C++ for new modules.
• Write auto and unit testers in Python.
• Test code on lithography machines and write a test report.
• Work in a development environment of Red Hat Linux.

Mandatory Skills Description

Required skills include:

• C and C++ for application coding and understanding legacy code.
• Embedded C and C++.
• Linux.
• Shell scripting language.
• Familiarity with makefile, git, and version control systems like Git.
• Python scripting.
