Senior C/C++ Engineer with Linux and Python

Opportunity

Luxoft is seeking a skilled software engineer to join the Development & Engineering Department. The role involves designing and implementing embedded software for cutting-edge systems.

Responsibilities

• Work on Linux server applications for metrology components
• Develop complex algorithm application software
• Participate in defining software requirements with engineers from various disciplines
• Implement software designs in Python & C/C++ for new modules
• Write auto and unit tests in Python
• Perform code testing on lithography machines
• Collect data during testing to generate test reports
• Release approved software

Environment

• Development Environment: Red Hat Linux
• Execution Environment: Wind River Linux
• Software release for client machines consists of 40 million lines of code

Skills

C and C++: application coding (C language 70%)

Linux: familiar with command line tools, makefile, git, Python scripting, Shell or Bash or other similar scripting language

Embedded C and C++: understand and maintain legacy code, add new features

Version control: Git, Clear Case, and SVN

English C1 proficiency
