We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester in Python to work on key business intelligence and reporting programs supporting clients in meeting global regulatory obligations. This role requires working in a global team within the Markets Regulation Technology, ensuring software quality and streamlining testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute test scenarios for applications and technical environments
- Document and control test activities
- Maintain and extend automated regression set on different layers of the application
- Finding new ways of automated test execution
- Collaborate with development teams to improve testing frameworks and maintain regression test cases
- Analyze code and resolve issues to maintain the highest standards of software quality
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automated testing with expertise in Web-UI/API testing
- Proficiency in Pytest, Selenium, and Python for automated testing
- Experience in working in the Finance/Banking/Asset Management industry or a strongly regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of working in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban)
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2 level
Nice to have
- Experience in multi-device testing (tablets, mobile)
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, especially Azure
- Proficiency in Jira, SharePoint, Confluence, IntelliJ/PyCharm
- Knowledge of database concepts and SQL query tools
- Experience in testing front-to-back MIS dashboards, post-trade controls, and regulatory reporting environment
