Opportunity Details
This is a 100% remote US-based opportunity. About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled Security Software Engineer to join our project team for a 12+ month opportunity. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Senior AlgoSec Engineer to enhance our client's security framework while taking the lead on software development, ServiceNow integration, and API management. This role is critical to our project as you will be responsible for both maintaining the current security setup and implementing new initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate security solutions leveraging Python and ServiceNow.
- Build and maintain APIs to support security operations and automation.
- Collaborate with the Senior AlgoSec Engineer to understand the current setup and propose improvements.
- Assist in both maintaining the current environment and implementing new projects as per the client's requirements.
- Document all processes and ensure all implementations meet high-quality security standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software development with a strong background in Python.
- Experience in developing and integrating APIs.
- Experience with ServiceNow, particularly in security process integrations.
- Knowledge of AlgoSec solutions is highly desirable but not mandatory.
