Job Opportunity
Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Aid in strategic technical objectives, which include modernizing our data pipeline infrastructure
Requirements:
- 5+ years of practical working experience in Python development
- 3 - 5+ years of practical working experience
- Unix shell scripting
- ETL vendor packages, such as Informatica ETL or Ab Initio
- Relational Databases, preferably Oracle Exadata
- Understanding of the Agile methodology
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Passion for automation and continual process improvement
- Bachelor's degree in STEM related field
Desired skills:
- Experience using and/or configuring common SDLC tools that support Agile, such as Jira, Jenkins, Ansible
- Knowledge of or exposure to common Python packages, such as PySpark
- Experience or familiarity with orchestration tools, such as Airflow
- Familiarity with Data Warehouse / Data Mart / Business Intelligence concepts
Pay Range: $55.06 - $63.06
