Python Software Engineer

Job Description

As a senior software engineer at Vodafone Romania Technologies, you will be part of an international team responsible for developing strategic tools for Vodafone Group & local markets. Your tasks include automating the lifecycle of SDWAN products, such as zero-touch provisioning, inventory management, and API standardization. The solutions you develop are complex, involving databases, business logic, and integration with other components and systems. You will have the opportunity to work with various technologies and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Develop well-structured code following company standards
• Document enhancements and system changes
• Provide input for impact analysis on other systems
• Coordinate code development and delivery process
• Provide accurate estimates for upcoming features
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to their growth

Desired Skills

• Demonstrated industry experience in software development with python, APIs (TMforum), MEF data models, and unit & integration testing
• Professional experience in data processing & manipulation
• Good experience with DevOps technologies like AWS, docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• SDWAN automation experience with VeloCloud, Meraki, Fortinet, Mist (a plus)
• Experience with non-relational databases such as Mongo DB and neo4j
• Proficiency in versioning systems like Git
• Agile experience, preferably Scrum, SAFe (a plus)
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
