Python Engineer

Job Description

A leading global financial services firm is seeking an experienced Python developer to join its agile team. You will play a key role in enhancing, building and delivering top-notch regulatory reporting platform products.

Responsibilities

• Drive modernization and scalability of client, transaction and regulatory reporting platforms
• Implement high-quality solutions adhering to business needs and industry standards
• Automate manual processes to increase efficiency
• Collaborate closely within an agile team across global locations
• Translate high-level requirements into technical specs for reliability, scalability and performance

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Python application development experience in finance using Core, Pandas, NumPy
• Practical experience with Django/Flask web frameworks
• Experience with SQL Server/PostgreSQL databases
• Microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred)
• Cloud-native technologies (Azure), ideally Databricks and/or Azure Data Factory
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical design
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or related field

Role Details

This role is based in Wroclaw and is three days in the office. Paying up to 1700zl per day.
