Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency in the Python programming language, and working knowledge of basic software engineering concepts.
  • Experience in AWS cloud infrastructure, especially Kinesis, Lambda, and CDK.
  • Proficiency in using markdown documents for documentation and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar technical documentation role.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies and technical tools.

Responsibilities

  • Attend technical meetings and discussions, capturing accurate and detailed notes on discussions, decisions, and action items.
  • Transform meeting notes and high-level bullet points into comprehensive and well-structured technical documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure the accuracy and completeness of the documentation.
  • Translate technical concepts and jargon into user-friendly language that is accessible to a wide range of audiences.
  • Create and maintain a repository of technical documentation using markdown documents and version control systems such as Git.
  • Organize and structure documentation to ensure easy navigation and searchability for users.
  • Continuously update and improve existing documentation to reflect changes in technologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Ensure the documentation adheres to established style guides and documentation standards.
  • Review and edit documentation created by other team members for clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights for creating and updating technical documentation.
