Job Description

Looking for a challenging role in the Hedge Fund industry? Join a high-performing multi-billion dollar Hedge Fund as a Java/Python Developer. The role involves managing risk levels, building-out risk management processes, and transitioning into front office trading technology quantitative development.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Background in quantitative finance, data analysis, and econometrics/statistics
• Experience with programming skills in Python and other object-oriented languages
• Familiarity with financial datasets and hedge fund strategies
• Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical business members

Key Responsibilities

• Address application issues promptly
• Provide second and third level support to globally deployed applications
• Work with other Technology teams for solution delivery
• Assist with the legacy software migration
• Maintain documentation and follow established workflows

Required Background and Knowledge

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Front or Middle office full stack experience preferred
• Experience with 3rd party applications integration and electronic execution
• Prior experience in Java development, DB knowledge, and financial environment familiarity

• Cloud technologies (AWS)
• Agile development practices
• Data analytics and rapid development
• Messaging/Data streaming solutions
• Database administration and REST API

Good To Have Languages

• Python: Pandas, Numpy, FastAPI

Offer

This role provides a competitive base salary, 50-100% bonus potential, with an office-based position in Central London. Flexibility is offered if needed.
