Job Description
- Role : Python Developer with PySpark
- Location: Cincinnati, OH

Skillset for the Position:
- Databricks, PySpark, Spark Structured Streaming, Delta Live Tables, Delta Sharing
Expertise in Databricks, PySpark, and related technologies for data processing. Familiarity with Spark Structured Streaming, Delta Live Tables, and Delta Sharing for efficient data handling. Strong Communication. Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration within the 8-person agile team. Experience supporting projects related to Data Modernization.
Technical Skills:
- Python: 4+ years of experience, with a focus on extensive SQL querying and data manipulation.
- DevOps: Proficiency in Linux, GitHub, and Bash.
- CI/CD Lifecycles: Experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.
- Testing: Ability to write Unit, integration, and regression tests.
- Static Code Analysis: Experience with tools, Linters, and adherence to PEP 8 standards.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Agile SCRUM: Previous involvement in Agile SCRUM projects.
Highly Desired Skills
- Expert SQL Knowledge: Advanced proficiency in SQL.
- Streaming Technologies: Experience with Apache Kafka, Azure EventHubs, Avro.
- DevOps Tools: Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Terraform, Artifactory.
Desired Additional Skills
- Data Visualization: Power BI, Tableau.
- Programming: Java, SpringBoot.
- Containerization: Kubernetes, Docker.
- Database: NoSQL.
This position requires a strong technical foundation in Python, SQL, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms, with a specific emphasis on Databricks, PySpark, and related technologies. Effective communication and experience in Agile SCRUM projects are essential. Advanced expertise in SQL, streaming technologies, and additional skills in data visualization, programming, and containerization are highly desirable for the role.
