Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Python and Mainframe Migration Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the migration process from mainframe to Python. You will need to have a deep understanding of both mainframe and Python systems, as well as expertise in migrating data from one system to another.

You will work closely with our development team to ensure a smooth and seamless migration process.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement migration strategies from mainframe to Python
• Collaborate with development team to ensure seamless migration process
• Analyze and understand mainframe data and processes
• Develop tools and scripts to automate migration processes
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the migration process
• Develop and maintain documentation related to migration processes
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness during and after the migration process
• Communicate progress and updates to stakeholders and project teams

Requirements

• Experience in mainframe migration and Python development
• Strong understanding of mainframe systems and processes
• Expertise in Python programming language
• Experience with data migration tools and processes
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
