Job Description
The Developer should successfully demonstrate an ability to code, test, develop, modify, implement and/or enhance an application. Must have a solid history of application development, support, modifications, enhancements, and troubleshooting. Will be responsible for developing technical solutions utilizing new or existing applications to enhance business processes. Responsibilities may include systems support, testing, system management, reporting, and technical documentation. Responsible for using existing and emerging technology platforms to design development and document detailed distributed applications.
Responsibilities: Develop in all phases of the programming life cycle: code, debug, design, document, implement, maintain, and test. Design, develop, and implement software interface applications as defined by the assigned project. 5-7 years of relevant work experience is required.
Requirements
- Experienced python programmer
- Strong foundational knowledge of infrastructure information
- Knowledge of GIT, Jira
- Basic System Administration experience
- Understands unit testing and integration testing
- Understanding of networking
Responsibilities
- Experienced Python programmer to help develop and maintain a multiplatform service that will capture inventory, data, and submit to a web API
- Developer is required to write efficient coding and ensure small footprint of the processing
- Developer will be tasked with writing code to run on cloud platforms
Supplier Call Notes (2/22 at 3:00 PM EST)
- Continue to develop public cloud project
- 5+ years of experience of Python development
- No UI involved... only querying inventory
- Writing Python (no Django needed)
- Familiarity with public cloud hosting (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
- Strong API experience
- SQL is a big plus
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required
- Financial services experience is a plus but not required
- 1 hour long interview... panel interview with a code pairing session
- Currently a contract-only role... conversion to FTE is possible but not promised... candidate can sit 100% remote for contract period... would need to be local to Pittsburgh or Lake Mary to convert to FTE
