Capital Markets
- Operates a broad range of international equity, fixed income, related exchange-traded funds (ETFs)/exchange-traded products (ETPs) and foreign exchange markets that enable customers, communities and economies to grow.
- The division combines LSEG’s Capital Markets division with trading platforms and the Tradeweb fixed income trading platform, supporting customers which seek to trade and raise capital on a global basis.
Post Trade
- Operates a group of multinational clearing houses that provide counterparty risk mitigation across multiple asset classes for sell-side clearing members and buy-side clients in conjunction with trading venues globally.
- LCH is a multi-asset class clearing house, serving major exchanges and platforms and a range of OTC markets, OTC and listed rates, credit-default swaps (CDS), FX, fixed income, commodities, cash equities, and equity derivatives.
- UnaVista is a regulated platform that helps customers meet their reporting compliance obligations and reduce operational and regulatory risk through reporting, reference data and analytics solutions.
Index Technology
- Benchmark & Index Solutions consists of FTSE Russell and Refinitiv Benchmark Services.
- Our vision is to be the leading index solutions provider of choice across asset classes and investment objectives, helping investors make better-informed investment decisions.
Role Responsibilities
- Engaging with product owners, architects and other specialists you'll design and build world-class cloud native solutions.
- You will assist your workstream by writing user stories, refining and estimating them as part of an agile process.
- You'll build and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable and secure enterprise software, adhering to company standards.
- Demonstrating a consistent focus on quality, you'll ensure that you deliver reliable software through static analysis, unit testing and other industry standard ways of working.
- You'll provide technical support to operations or other development teams.
- To help the team develop and learn, you'll review work of peers, providing advice and guidance for the benefit of the team as a whole.
- Through agile retrospectives and reviews, you'll adapt and find innovative ways to make your team work more effectively.
- Through participation in refinement and planning sessions, you'll work with other team members to analyze development requirements and provide design options and complexity estimates, and agree how to deliver the requirements.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience Required
- At least 3 years experience in developing in Python.
- Experience in API design (REST, GraphQL).
- Familiar with network protocols: WebSocket, Socket, https.
- Strong communication skill; Good problem solving & analytical skills; Agile oriented.
- Experience in CI/CD in Cloud such as Azure, AWS or GCP (nice to have).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform (nice to have).
- Knowledge about machine learning (nice to have).
