You will be part of a large-scale project based in the Sydney location.
Requirements
- Design and implement ETL systems in Apache Airflow.
- Experience with scaling data pipelines for large datasets
- Possess data engineering skills with strong: SQL, AirFlow Skills
- Take ownership of the data engineering efforts within the wider team
- Resource should have experience in scalable data pipelines in the AWS or any other cloud environment
- Participate in storyboard and solution design sessions – recommend alternative approaches and best practices, define technical impact, and provide sizing estimates.
- Follow an Agile software development methodology and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle and support processes.
- Proficient in Python/Java, BigData Tech, Lightning Component, Integration.
- Proficient in CICD ecosystem using Git and Bamboo
Skills Required:
Possess strong Python skills with minimum 3-5 years of core Python development experience.
Redis Queue and Redis Caching
Postgres DB experience is preferable
Cloud computing skills preferably on AWS
Hands-on development experience in Airflow.
Hands on data engineering experience with writing SQL for data prep, cleansing using Python or R.
