Exciting opportunity for an ambitious Software Engineer, with Python expertise and experience in Machine Learning, to develop cutting edge technologies supporting the early detection of cancer.
This innovative & international Medical Device Technology company are making waves in the medical imaging space with advanced AI & Machine Learning. They are well established and are looking to make multiple hires into the development team.
As a Python Software Engineer you will work on Computer Vision and AI Projects for medical imaging. You will build new platforms, and take ownership of backend service design. You will define sprint requirements and acceptance criteria with product owners while working closely with other developers to perform code and design reviews.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial experience with Python programming and API-First Design, with a focus on quality, usability and versatility. You will have experience with AWS and an understanding of CI/CD tools. You will have experience constructing robust data models. Any experience within highly regulated industries or medical device businesses is advantageous.

Role Overview
- Based in Nijmegen Netherlands 2 x per week
- Python Development for AI & Computer Vision Projects
- API-first design, REST APIs and backend service design
- Working with Flask or FastAPI frameworks
- BSc in Computer Science or similar
- Experience in MedTech/Medical Devices is desirable but not essential
