At team MediKIT, we believe in creating innovative solutions that innovate general practitioner care. Our core values - sympathetic, open, smart and different - form the basis of everything we do. With the general practitioner information system MediKIT, we are improving the work for general practitioners.
We are building MediKIT entirely on open standards. The HIS is based entirely on HL7 FHIR, a file and exchange standard for healthcare. A standardized system, to which other parties can easily connect is the starting point. Besides a central storage, we work with microservices, and an FHIR-based React frontend.
Your Team
The MediKIT team works as a close-knit team with short lines of communication. The team currently consists of thirteen talented people, including Development, UX, healthcare, sales and design experts. Together, we strive to develop cutting-edge solutions that make GP care more accessible and effective. As part of this team, you'll work closely with colleagues who are experts in their fields and are driven to make a difference in the healthcare industry.
The MediKIT team is part of Nedap Healthcare. You can take advantage of the expertise and development opportunities that a large company can offer, while working in a small team.
The team often works remotely, and is based partly in Groenlo and partly in Den Bosch. It is always also possible to work at our office in Den Bosch, Utrecht or Groenlo. With some regularity we meet at one of the locations.

Required Experience and Skills
- You enjoy developing and maintaining applications. You like solving challenging problems, and you enjoy working on scalable and maintainable applications. Or to improve this where that is not yet the case.
- Extensive experience developing backend applications.
- Knowledge of Python, or willingness to learn it
- Experience setting up scalable applications
- Knowledge of SQL databases, and experience with how to optimize them
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and JSON storage is a plus
- Full-stack development experience and knowledge of react and typescript is a plus
