Python Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to work within Trade Surveillance and Reporting on a big data communication monitoring application. This project sits within their wider Compliance IT team and supports all of their trading regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Python
• S3/MinIO
• Java or .NET (familiar with one of those)
• Scheduling tools like Airflow and Dagster

• Dremio
• Datahub

Person Profile

An appreciation and understanding of Agile methodologies, including knowledge of TDD and BDD. Experience working in agile software development teams. Experience in best practice software development and system architecture. Excellent communication skills, able to liaise with other teams and stakeholders. Is a proactive member of the team when it comes to releases and production issues. Has familiarity with DevOps/CloudOps.
