Python Developer

Templeton and Partners are looking for Python Developer with Telco background for our Global Client.

The main function of a Developer is to design, develop, and implement applications using Django and Postgres to support business requirements.

Location- London, Hybrid

Contract- Inside IR35, 9 months with possibility to extend

Job Responsibilities:

• 1. Driving and supporting the development of our Broadband roadmap.
• 2. Review code and support high-quality standards.
• 3. Ensure the best practices are fulfilled.
• 4. Liaising with our product owner and the rest of the team.
• 5. Participate actively in our Agile Ceremonies.

Qualifications:

• 1. Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
• 2. Exposure to the Telco Industry.
• 3. 3+ years. Commercial Development experience in using Django and Postgres.
• 4. Hands-on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large-scale projects from end-to-end.
• 5. Hands-on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC.
• 6. Good knowledge of SQL, Postgres, Migrations.
• 7. Confidence in working with industry standards like Gitflow and PEP 8.
• 8. Experience of an Agile software development life cycle.
• 9. Excellent attention to detail, strong prioritization skills and verbal communication skills. Good team player.
