What You Will Do
- Support the development and management of tools for the DOE's Energy Exascale Earth System Model (E3SM)
- Work on E3SM-Unified and Polaris tools
- Maintain compatibility and coordinate releases of conda and Spack packages
- Produce initial conditions and regression tests for E3SM models
- Work with Python, conda, Spack, and GitHub Actions
What You Need
- B.S. in computer science, climate modeling, or a related field
- Experience with Python, C/C++, Java, Julia, and Fortran
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with package management in PyPI, conda-forge, or Spack
- Experience with Earth system modeling workflows
- Experience in parallel computing environments
- Experience with GitHub Actions or Azure Pipelines

No Clearance
Position does not require a security clearance. Selected candidates will undergo drug testing and pre-employment background checks.
