You Are
UST is searching for a Linux and Python Engineer who will be running performance benchmarks and testing on-prem servers and in the cloud. Workloads are a mix of industry-standard benchmarks, in-house, and internally developed.
The Opportunity
- Handle component owner responsibilities
- Act as SPOC for the validation team
- Understand customer expectations and provide solutions that create customer delight.
- Coordinate with the team effectively.
- Perform technical interviews for the project requirements.
- Contribute to writing test cases for the product.
- Validate the accuracy of the test cases written for the product.
- Perform validation and root cause analysis.
- Attend customer meetings and communicate effectively on the requirements and results.
- Learn technology, business domain, and system domain individually and as recommended by the project/account.
- Complete the certifications for the role (like ISTQB, and UST GAMMA certifications)
- Perform end-to-end escape analysis.
- Perform test planning.
- Resolve all the technical impediments of the team.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the test cases planned.
- Perform escape analysis for the product.
- Perform KPI enablement.

What you need
- High-level skillset is Excellent on Linux and 2 years of experience in Python.
- Bachelors in computer science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- 2 + years of hands-on experience with Linux, BASH, and Python Scripting.
- 1 + years of experience deploying open-source applications to on-prem servers or to the cloud.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 + years of experience with compiling applications in a Linux environment
- 1 + years of experience with performance analyzing monitoring tools.
- 1 + years of experience with performance tuning and optimization of open-source applications.
- 1 + years of experience with deep learning solutions
