We are currently seeking a Lead Software Engineer (Python/Web Security) to join our team. The role is available remotely or in the office in select countries, including Poland, Cyprus, Lithuania, and more.
About the Product
- Gcore is on the verge of launching a cutting-edge Web Security product designed to shield online platforms from various cyber threats.
- The solution aims to bolster web infrastructure security leveraging Gcore's extensive expertise in Edge Network products.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a diverse team to deliver a stable, secure, and performant Web Security product.
- Implement SRE practices, drive modern CI/CD methodologies, actively manage technical debt.
- Cultivate a positive team environment, manage stakeholder expectations, and optimize delivery processes.
- Design resilient architecture, champion security best practices, and leverage AI and automation tools.
We Expect You to Have
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, strong Python background.
- Experience leading software development teams, familiarity with Kubernetes, Grafana, GitHub Actions, and more.
- Proven understanding of observability, monitoring tools, and prior work with CI/CD methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to lead architectural discussions.
Nice to Have
- Experience with security products, AI tools, Clickhouse, Sentry, and Opensearch.
- Contributions to open-source projects or technical leadership demonstrations.
