Role Description

This is a Lead Python Developer role in Newark, NJ. The position is on-site and contract-based. As a Lead Python Developer, you will be responsible for:

• Leading a team of Python developers
• Developing and maintaining high-quality software applications
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business solutions
• Designing, testing, and debugging code
• Implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our clients

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

• 7+ years of experience in Python development
• Demonstrated experience leading a team of developers
• Expertise in major frameworks such as Flask and Django, and experience with database technologies like PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with testing frameworks like pytest or unittest
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns and development best practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
