About the role
The Python & Cloud Solutions Engineer autonomously spearheads initiatives with Media Activation and Planning, our client (Google/MFG), and other internal teams, innovating to replace manual tasks with automated solutions, thus saving time and enhancing efficiency.
This self-driven role collaborates with campaign and project managers and crosses various teams to refine media account workflows. They independently manage their projects while mentoring juniors, guiding their work and growth to ensure successful project outcomes.
Working in close partnership with their account lead, they're instrumental in crafting and delivering top-tier marketing programs that leverage state-of-the-art technology and tools, surpassing client expectations.
Proactively, they'll identify automation opportunities, liaise with diverse stakeholders, and champion technological progress to bolster the company's development and streamline operations.
- Leverage media buying platform APIs and Google Sheets [add-ons] to build automated pacing and reporting docs
- Work with other Tech team stakeholders to enhance proprietary tools
- Creation of automated tools for ad and trading platforms, including self-configuring systems, automated reporting commentary, and campaign optimization.
A bit about yourself:
- Approximately 3-4 years experience in a digital media agency or ad tech space
- Experience with data integration projects - e.g. API, DMP, Analytics, etc
- Experienced in handling projects that utilize SQL, Python, and Javascript.
- Acquainted with or have prior experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Advanced Proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Data Studio
- A passion for everything digital, with an active interest and understanding of ad tech
- A self-starter who can take initiative and begin projects independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are particularly important in developing client relationships and maintaining efficient communication across the team
- Adept at working within a team and partnering across teams
