Embedded Python Integration Engineer

Introduction

ALTEN Romania comprises two specialized divisions: ENGINEERING and IT, represented by ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN KEPLER.

Responsibilities

• Check completeness of CI/CD build activities
• Collaborate with IT and maintain the lab infra
• Slowly transfer tasks from the existing team to the new person
• Develop Jenkins pipelines
• Enhance existing infra config
• Become a one-point contact for all release-related integration activities

Additional Instructions

• Verify data consistency between boards-database and actual data
• Ensure Lauterbach/Reset device uniqueness
• Train to understand embedded code for providing improvements in CI/CD activities

Qualifications

• Medium-level embedded C with debugging knowledge (gdb, Lauterbach or equivalent debuggers)
• Python scripting knowledge with ability to develop small features in oops concepts
• Basic understanding of DevOps workflow - SCM, CI build systems
• Knowledge on git basics, PR, and CI/CD workflow

Preferred Skills

• Basic networking knowledge (ARP, DHCP, static/dynamic IP, MAC, firewall)
• Strong problem-solving ability and independent work-oriented mindset
• Advanced knowledge of C/C++ concepts and memory allocation
• In-depth knowledge of Python or a high-level language (Java, C#, Go)
• Good analytical thinking and debugging skills
• Experience with advanced Jenkins or any CI pipelines in a virtualized container
