Infrastructure Software Developer - High Frequency Trading

Golang Developer Position

A Golang Developer with knowledge of Linux, TCP/IP Networking, and Storage is being sought by a London-Headquartered HFT firm. The ideal candidate will be well-organised, pragmatic, possess strong programming skills, and have experience in the design, development, and maintenance of Infrastructure.

• Must have practical experience in automation, introducing new tools that positively impact a wider community
• Fluency in at least one programming language and willingness to adopt new languages
• Good working knowledge of Linux, TCP/IP networking, and storage technologies
• Expertise in standard development tools and test-driven development techniques
• Experience with Containerisation (Docker, Podman), Observability Infrastructure (Prometheus, Grafana), Logging tools (Kibana, Elasticsearch), and/or Configuration Management techniques (Puppet, Terraform) desirable
• Preferable knowledge of Hardware, O/S, and Networking or Storage platforms such as Debian, RedHat, VMware, Cisco, NetApp, and ZFS
• Exposure to Electronic Trading Systems and Precise Timing Infrastructure preferred but not essential
• Excellent academic record in a STEM subject from a top-rated University
• Four days in the Central London office working pattern
