Full Stack Python Developer
Location: Berlin/remote within Germany

Thryve has just partnered with an exciting start-up providing a user-friendly web Geographic Information System (GIS) platform for the benefit of project developers.
This is your chance to contribute towards the successful implementation of various projects within the clean energy sector!

Responsibilities

• Implement new functionalities based on requirements (e.g., project management tool, automated report generation, custom GIS data upload and display).
• Advise on strategic decisions regarding tools, frameworks, and system architecture.
• Automate data processing in the ETL pipeline, including calculating values for new attributes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in building & maintaining software systems, with a focus on web applications.
• Hands-on experience in React or Vue frameworks.
• Familiarity with GIS data and front-end mapping libraries, i.e., Mapbox GL.
• Proven track record with back-end technologies and databases, using Python/Django with Postgres.
• Bonus: Fluency in German
