ETL Developer with Python

Project Description

We are developing a Digital Transformation Project, moving functions to a Serverless environment. It is important to understand the basics of AWS. We plan to expand the data warehouse with integrations and an additional SQL layer. Initially, we mainly focus on Data Engineering (80%) and Python (20%).

Responsibilities

• Grow-up existing ETL serverless app (AWS lambdas)
• Grow-up existing Snowflake stored procedures (JavaScript, Python)
• Work closely with the existing Database Team
• Collaborate with other teams to build new integrations and enhance existing integrations
• Test and evaluate system to ensure functionality and accuracy
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs in our system
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed system
• Participate in the development and implementation of system requirements and specifications
• Provide technical support and training to other team members and end-users

Requirements

• Fluency in Python (Serverless, Git)
• Experience with cloud programming and cloud services - AWS
• Experience with RDBMS, preferably Snowflake
• Experience with ETL, DataLake, Warehouse concepts (at least 3-4 years)
• Experience in building integration apps (API, jdbc, file processing)
• Fluency in English
