Responsibilities

• Collaborating with control scientists and lead engineers in the art of system modeling and tuning
• Conducting mind-bending cluster/batch simulations
• Supporting hardware-in-the-loop prototyping wizardry in the laboratory
• Calibrating the lens of perception systems
• Engaging in brainstorming sessions for enhancements with senior R&D experts

Ideal Candidate Experience

• Tackling the intricacies of modeling (coupled) dynamical systems
• Delving into the depths of linear control theory
• Navigating through coordinate representations and generalized coordinates
• Fine-tuning controls with various methods
• Analyzing stability through different methods
• Mastering spatial notations and kinematics
• Solving puzzles with inverse kinematics
• Navigating the landscape of perception and sensors (LIDAR, TOF)
• Steering the ship of motion control
• Conversant in M-code
• Fluent in Python
• Proficient in C/C++ (considered a stellar bonus)
• Skilled in TCP/UDP/DDS
