Requirements

• 3+ years of work experience as a backend Developer with a focus on python
• Experience with code optimization and performance tuning
• Experience with Docker containerization
• Strong knowledge of MSSQL. Specifically query building, table design and performance tuning
• Experience building Restful APIs
• Experience creating Front End applications (JavaScript, React framework)
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, MongoDB, OR Redis data storage

Responsibilities

• Work with Financial Analysts to design and construct cutting edge front office applications
• Develop systems to enhance alpha generation, leverage borrow markets and optimize firm balance sheet
• Collaborate in a fast-paced team environment to understand, engineer, and deliver on business requirements
• Full lifecycle development including requirement, architecture, implementation, testing, and release
• Work with diverse sources of internal & external Portfolio Finance specific data to produce quantitative metrics to inform Portfolio Finance decision making
